OU basketball players in trouble

Just hours after celebrating a big win over Texas, OU head coach Jeff Capel received a phone call he really did not want to get. Capel was informed 2 of his players, Andrew Fitzgerald and Steven Pledger were cited for allegedly shoplifting shirts from a Norman, Oklahoma Dillards department store.
Pledger scored 9 points against Texas, while Fitzgerald played 24 minutes in the victory. Just 4 hours after the victory, both players were ticketed for petty larceny and later released.
According to OU basketball office personnel, any discipline would be handled internally.
