BARTLESVILLE, Okla. - Washington County deputies arrested 32-year-old Louis Jordan Roach of Bartlesville Wednesday in connection with the burglary of a residence in Copan.
Roach, seen Thursday in Washington County District Court for his initial appearance, faces charges of second degree burglary and knowingly concealing stolen property, His bond is set at $75,000.
According to the case probable cause affidavit, deputies on July 21 were dispatched to the 400 block of N. Chestnut Avenue in Copan in reference to a home burglary.
The owner of the home reportedly told deputies Roach had entered his home without his permission between 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. and took a luggage set among other items.
In addition, a witness who identified Roach in a photo line-up reportedly told police he saw Roach walk out of the home between 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. He said he saw black luggage in the front of a vehicle parked near the home, said the report.
Deputies on Wednesday upon serving a search warrant on Roach's residence on the 100 block of N. Park Avenue in Bartlesville found among other items a tool box bearing pipe wrenches, four Wii games, Wii components and manuals, a leather DVD case with a name on the outside and containing DVD movies, a black leather case with names on the outside and bearing DVD movies and a variety of knives.
Roach is due back in court on August 27.
